Cost of wood burning fireplace installation — Pomona, CA

Last updated: September 24, 2026

What affects the price

When you start planning a fireplace installation, the final bill depends on a few major factors. Choosing between a simple electric unit, a gas insert, or a full wood-burning masonry build creates the biggest difference in cost. You also have to consider the existing setup of your home; running new gas lines or venting through a roof will naturally add labor hours compared to a straightforward swap. Finishing materials like custom stonework or mantel pieces also shift the total.

About this service

A wood-burning installation involves specialized firebox assembly and high-temperature venting systems. Factors like roof access for the chimney and the amount of stonework or brick facing will shift the final cost. We ensure every installation meets strict fire safety regulations for your area.

Fall is the final window to get your fireplace ready before the heavy use of winter begins. As the air turns crisp, interest in installations spikes. We recommend getting your project on the books as soon as possible to ensure your fireplace is installed and inspected before the first frost arrives. It is the perfect time to ensure everything functions perfectly.
